Fallout 3 - Still a dungeon crawler…

A top class dungeon crawler… but still a dungeon crawler. Before that there’s still game to cover. The game is about decisions. How would you like to play the game? It allows you to do almost anything you could want within limitations. It still falls back to Oblivion with guns. The people you meet in game is where most of the fun comes from. It’s unique characters and dialogue choices make for some memorable moments. When you level up your given a list of perks to chose from that can either improve skills you have neglected or to strengthen the ones you use. The problem of the game is the times in-between the moments of dialogue and useful items. With so much trekking its nice to be able to use the fast travel button. Problem is when your deep in the dungeons you don’t have that option. You must run all the way back to where you came in most and along the way you’ll see the bodies of those you’ve killed. Hopefully you feel bad about that. In the end, the game is still a buy if not for just the time it can steal from you with its leveling and choices. But always to come back for the characters that populate the wasteland.
